Jessica Shellhamer earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. While at UNC, she double-majored in English. She continued to pursue her studies in English at Wake Forest University, earning her M.A. in 2007. Ms. Shellhamer then began teaching at Salem Academy in 2007. At Salem, in addition to teaching English III, English III Honors, and an English IV Elective, Ms. Shellhamer advises the Key Club and Grassroots, Salem’s student newspaper. In her spare time, Ms. Shellhamer enjoys reading and writing, and she hopes one day to return to Italy for a visit.
