Summer Camps
In the Spirit of Community
Summer camps are one of the many ways Salem students engage with the local community.
All-Girls Camps: STEAM and Robotics & Coding
After many discussions, and based on the progression of COVID-19, Salem Academy has made the decision not to proceed with the 2020 STEAM & Robotics Camps. We are aware that this information is not what our families desired to hear, but, at this time, the safety of our campers needs to remain our priority. Thank you for your understanding. Please take good care and be safe.
Salem students work as counselors, serving alongside their Academy teachers. The campers, K-8 girls from the local community, explore the fundamentals of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in creative, age-appropriate activities.
STEAM Camp inspires girls in grades K-5 with hands-on activities, such as:

- Introduction to Coding
- Robot Demos
- Electric Circuits
- Photography
- Print Making
- Data Collection
- Lego Building Challenges
- Math & Mysteries
- Story Science, & more
The Robotics and Coding Camp introduces girls in grades 6-8 to the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Program.
